Summary
Reporting to the VP, Strategy & Program Delivery, this new position is responsible for building partnerships and developing programs to meet the needs of the community and to fulfill our charitable mission.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and partnerships with community and corporations
- Create business analysis reports, monitor membership, sales, and program metrics
- Foster an open, transparent, equitable, diverse, and inclusive work environment
- Lead business development and community outreach opportunities, including proposals
- Work with managers to develop membership strategies
- Using community demographics, develop programs to achieve strategic objectives
- Contribute to the financial sustainability of Community Hub operations
Qualifications
- Ability to lead, effectively implement, and manage change
- 5+ years’ experience managing and leading staff
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships within both community and corporate realms as well as within the organization
- 7+ years’ experience in a business development role including business/data analysis, proposals, and program planning, implementation, evaluation
- Ability to create strong business development proposals and opportunities
- Demonstrated experience supporting cultures of inclusivity and belonging
- Hands-on experience creating and forecasting budgets and cash flows
- Post-secondary education in human service planning, recreation, marketing, or other related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
