Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Vice President of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the rapidly evolving IT Services & Procurement industry. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, and establishing strong customer relationships. As the EVP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy, expanding market presence, and fostering innovation to achieve ambitious business targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Drive the development of sales initiatives, campaigns, and tactics to penetrate new markets and segments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and optimal service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and market trends.
2. Revenue Growth:
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative approaches to drive revenue growth.
- Take ownership of the company's revenue targets and formulate plans to consistently achieve and surpass them.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Customer Relationships:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Engage with clients at strategic levels to position our services as a critical partner in their business success.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions to address them.
4. Sales Team Management:
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing sales team capable of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Develop career growth paths and opportunities for team members to enhance retention and talent development.
5. Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage market insights to adapt and refine the sales approach, ensuring the company remains competitive and innovative.
6. Collaborative Leadership:
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide strategic input and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors regarding sales performance and market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing and motivating diverse sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving and surpassing sales targets, and expanding market share.
- Established network of contacts and relationships within the industry is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with remote teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of IT services, procurement processes, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in progressively responsible sales leadership roles within the IT Services & Procurement industry.
