UNDER REVIEW: Classification 16, $31.07 - $32.03/hr, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional 2% on regular earnings in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay. There is scheduled time off between Christmas and New Year's Day that is unpaid time.
Description
The Enrolment Systems Officers work collaboratively with staff and faculty to ensure scheduling processes support the College's enrolment plan. They will meet established timelines create, revise, or cancel course sections for each term and campus according to the timetables and updates that are provided by the Deans and/or their delegates.
In this role, you will recommend solutions for registrarial business processes, from an end-user perspective, which are efficient and easily maintained and which will also improve customer service and the efficiency of the department.
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this position, you will have completed Grade 12 and a post-secondary Office Administration program; or have an equivalent combination of education and office experience. You will have a high level of experience with MS Office Suite (including excel, outlook and word) and have excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preference will be given to those who have previous experience in Colleague (Student Information System), as well as assembling and maintaining course sections. Experience with, and knowledge of, NLC policies and procedures would be an asset.
Successful completion of clerical testing will be required.
