Job Description

The Director, Strategic Accounts will provide mentorship to Account Managers on advanced client development and service techniques. This person will manage all contract related issues including initiation and negotiation of new master agreements, contract compliance inclusive of confidentiality agreements, unique billing and reporting requirements, documentation of special provisions, and act as central point of contact to client for all related administrative matters

Job Summary:

  • Develop new threads of revenue and increase overall revenue growth for all Randstad LOBs throughout all areas of the account, its subsidiaries and sister companies.
  • Ensure that Randstad is positioned optimally to influence strategic recruitment and staffing decisions within accounts.
  • Manage all contract related issues including initiation and negotiation of new master agreements, contract compliance inclusive of confidentiality agreements, unique billing and reporting requirements, documentation of special provisions, and act as central point of contact to client for all related administrative matters
  • Broad based knowledge of the SPE staffing industry including Inhouse and customized client solutions & programs.
  • Executive management of account activities, coordination of field-level Account Managers, and complete ownership of the overall client relationship within designated Strategic Accounts.
  • Develop and maintain centralized customer intelligence repository inclusive of organizational charts, media clips, annual reports, current news releases, vertical market analysis, etc., and disseminate amongst the entire client service team
  • Provide mentorship to Account Managers on advanced client development and service techniques.
  • Act in a consultative capacity to the National Account on all areas of recruitment strategy with an emphasis on developing an integrated approach to recruitment
  • Increase corporate visibility to Randstad SPE within specified high-value, Strategic Accounts at the highest level (President, CIO, CTO, Senior VPs within all client LOBs as well as HR, TA and Procurement etc.) through regular executive calls, visits, executive presentations, and delivery of top-tier value added programs.
  • Responsible for attaining overall revenue goals, increasing account share, introducing other Randstad LOBs, developing high level business contacts and relationships, achieving margin and profitability goals,

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or 8-10+ years equivalent work experience required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated business development or client account expansion success

Knowledge:

Required:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and best practices in recruiting and client business.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing global partnerships.
  • Business Case development.
  • Business Process or Recruitment Process Outsourcing.

Experience with Tools:

Required:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel / PPT / Word / Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Candidate and/or Customer Relationship Management Systems (e.g. Bullhorn, Avature)
  • Resource Management / Professional Services Automation tools
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), (e.g. PeopleFluent, Taleo, eRecruit, Virtual Edge, Salesforce)
  • Google apps (mail, calendar, contacts)

General Duties & Job Success Goals:

  • Perform other duties as directed by the SVP, Business Development
  • Successfully introduce new LOB’s / Concepts to existing accounts
  • Ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and policies.
  • Achieve Gross Profit targets from assigned accounts
  • Ensure any client-specific SLA’s are consistently met
