Director- Marketing & Commercial Operations

This role sits on the Senior Management Team and is responsible for driving commercial and operations success within the organization. This role involves working with the General Manager and internal management and also external stakeholders.The Director of Commercial Operations must be comfortable working in a small but dynamic environment and must have an entrepreneurial view of running the business. Department:Marketing & Commercial Operations Education:University Degree Salary:$120,000 to $150,000 Job Type:Full Time Skills & Experience The successful candidate is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic team player who is resourceful and dedicated and has competencies in adapting to changing environments.University DegreeMust have at least 10 years hands-on marketing experience in a pharmaceutical environment with progressive leadership experience in marketing pharmaceuticals, medical or OTC productsExperience and working knowledge of the Canadian pharmaceutical environmentKnowledge and experience of the Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access of the Canadian pharmaceutical marketDeveloped project management and analytical skillsHighly energetic team player with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyExtremely proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using social media tools is an assetVery strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload whilst multi-tasking in order to meet deadlinesStrong innovative and creative marketing skills. Must have entrepreneurial spirit.Must have ability to learn both technical and product related materialsHigh energy, self-motivated, and results-oriented and must have the ability to lead and inspire changeSales and marketing experience in pharmaAbility to communicate with physicians, executives and business partnersAbility to partner with the sales force and sales management to develop brand strategiesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProduct launch experience an assetMaintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExceptional written and oral communication skills Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include:Lead the Commercial operations of the business which would include Sales, Marketing and Market AccessWork with the Senior Management team to identify and evaluate strategic opportunitiesEnsure all commercial activities are implemented and executed in line with all regulations and compliance policies of the organizationLead the development, production, and delivery of advertising and promotional initiatives to maximize marketing effectivenessLead in developing strategic plans and executing operational marketing plans that support business objectives whiles working collaboratively with other team membersCollaboratively work with other team members to ensure that product supply always meets demand in line with Strategic and Operational plansLead Sales team to help develop sales opportunities. Participate in Area/Regional meetings.
