We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and an understanding of the industry, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. This position will assist in managing and coordinating communication with donors and sponsors, donor relations, and fundraiser events. Overall supports the Fundraising and Marketing department as needs arise.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of digital marketing campaigns, including website content, social media, and email campaigns.
• Provide additional support as needed to the Fundraising and Marketing department
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
• Support the YW staff with organization and implementation of donor relations, including written communication, planning, and sponsorship
• Work to increase donations, donor retention, and participation in events
• Advocate for the YWCA in community relations and involvements
• Conduct individual research of current industry best-practices and methods

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Interest in the community and current events surround our cause.
• Satisfactory volunteer sector police clearance is mandatory.
• Research capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent grammar, writing and creative abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
