Who we are
lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. Setting the bar in technical fabrics and functional design, we create transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. We owe our success to our innovative product, emphasis on stores, commitment to our people, and the incredible connections we make in every community we're in. As a company, we focus on creating positive change to build a healthier, thriving future. In particular, it includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.
About This Team
The Global Infrastructure and Cloud team is a world-class delivery group that builds and maintains the underpinnings of lululemon’s technology environment. We are multiple product and platform teams that share a passion for continuous and high-quality delivery and work closely with our internal teams and our business partners. With these business and technology partners we co-create a powerful roadmap to deliver amazing experiences to our guests with innovation, value, and reliability.
A day in the life
Primary Responsibilities
The Director of Global Infrastructure & Cloud Network Services primary responsibility is developing and implementing reliable shared technology infrastructure services, global network services, mobility backend services, and office support services, delivering quality processes, controls, and systems, utilized by all lululemon sites and employees, globally.
You create the vision and strategy, and you are accountable to lead the implementation of cloud-based enterprise network and infrastructure services, including device management, remote access, network connectivity and on-site office services.
You lead and manage multiple product engineering teams and provide direction for leaders across program management, solution architecture, engineering, and operations.
You will proactively build trusting relationships across the organization, including functional partners and regional teams; partner with executives across lululemon to develop a cohesive strategy, roadmap, and to ensure business objectives are met and enable our overall business and growth.
As a seasoned people leader, you can expect the following deliverables:
Leadership
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equity as per our organization’s IDEA commitment.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Lead, support, govern and in partnership with delivery teams during the transition of legacy architecture to modern cloud centric platforms.
Product Roadmap
  • Lead in developing and delivering a comprehensive portfolio of shared infrastructure and network platform services in partnership with 50+ engineering delivery teams across our technology division.
  • Manage demands from projects and technology upgrades including recommendations for vendor tools/solutions and global alignment of networks and devices.
  • Define and develop network infrastructure capabilities required to enable business initiatives including reliable network, zero trust device management, and remote access.
  • Manage oversight of complex network and infrastructure operations processes based on a combination of vendors, custom solutions, and internal resources.
  • Drive coordination, consensus and execution to mitigate cyber risk issues and emerging threats in such a dynamic environment.
  • Lead multiple multidisciplinary (DevOps) product configuration and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with the security/engineering/operation and architecture teams on enabling shared critical infrastructure services globally.
Innovation & Improvements
  • Develop clear product KPIs based on key insights and mature capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Develop metrics to measure success and ensure ability for on-going monitoring of post-launch results through analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a dynamic, Agile/Lean environment with proven ability to develop, communicate and gain consensus on a technical product roadmap for corporate functions.
  • Experience managing priorities with key partners and third-party vendors. Strong analytical skills with supporting examples of using metrics in all aspects of the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance, cross-functional product teams for a minimum of 5 years.
  • 8+ years direct work experience across a variety of Infrastructure engineering / operations disciplines.
  • Seasoned technology leader with 5+ years’ experience delivering large and complexed enterprise cloud-based solutions with a cloud first engineering mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success working with various, cross-functional, internal, and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time and on budget with limited direction.
  • Strong communication and “story-telling” skills – ability to articulate a vision or concept in simple terms to a broad audience at every level.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment. Results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and multi-task. Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs.
  • In-depth experience in building, assembling and delivery technology products associated with cloud based global networks and infrastructure platforms.
Must haves
  • Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.
  • Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
  • Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
  • Communicates with honesty and kindness and creates the space for others to do the same.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
  • Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
