Your Role

Our Infrastructure Advisory practice is growing rapidly. We are looking for a leader that is committed to partnering with clients as the trusted advisors of choice on major infrastructure projects across Canada. Our group is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, advising public and private sector clients on a wide variety of projects in the water, transportation, energy, healthcare and social infrastructure/civic buildings markets. As a Director you will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of the business as a member of the Infrastructure Advisory leadership team. You will also demonstrate leadership in the industry, and actively improve Colliers Project Leaders’ Infrastructure Advisory profile. You will be expected to identify, secure and deliver assignments, managing client relationships and satisfaction on engagements.

Responsibilities

As a Director you will help to develop the Infrastructure Advisory team and lead the implementation, management, growth and continuous improvement of advisory services across a broad range of specializations including:

• Feasibility studies, business cases
• Capital planning
• Procurement strategy and options analyses
• Market research
• Asset management
• PMO development, implementation, process improvement
• Transaction structuring

You will be responsible for the management of challenging assignments in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders’ high delivery standards, including managing a small team to these standards. You will lead the identification and conversion of opportunities in order to further grow our business.

Qualifications

• A broad consulting skill set including strong presentation and stakeholder facilitation, business case and report writing, organizational and analytical skills
• Demonstrated client engagement and business development capabilities and experience, and a proven track record for business development and experience identifying opportunities for future business growth in the advisory sector
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate and effectively engage with a diverse group of clients at the senior management, executive and board level
• Financial and commercial acumen, familiarity with complex financial models and a deep understanding of capital project development
• Minimum 7 years’ experience leading client engagements gained in an Advisory or Professional services organization
• Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations to client needs
• Proven leadership capabilities and working with a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong drive to develop business efforts on behalf of the Infrastructure Advisory Business Unit
• A demonstrated portfolio of work experience leading client engagements within the infrastructure and buildings sector (civic assets, water, energy, transportation, healthcare etc)
• Strong organizational skills creating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
