About the Role:

As a modern data analytics company, our client is equally a physical as much as it is a digital entity. As the

Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you are the architect and owner of the platform. In this role, you

will identify, adapt, and implement reference cloud architectures as projects through your team,

internal peer teams, & 3-party vendor organizations. Your customers range from tech-savvy engineers

team leads, to business customers – all of whom you will work to ingest inbound data, share access to

company’s dashboards, or safely archive according to data residency requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in deploying and maintaining solutions in AWS.
• Experience with containerized application deployment and maintenance in AWS
• Experience with configuration management systems (AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of TCP and IP networking protocols
• Experience in Linux server environments
• Experience with docker runtime and Kubernetes orchestration is necessary (AWS ECS, EKS
• High proficiency with overall systems architecture and engineering
• Experience in Postgres database and administration

in particular)

• Develop and maintain security and compliance policies for deployment processes.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, EFK)
• Experience with repositories and processes (GitHub, GitLab)
• Strong understanding of deployment strategies, including blue/green and canary deployments.
• Experience building orchestration and automation pipelines -CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, and ability to write

clear technical documentation.

• Attention to detail.
• Experience presenting technical solutions.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Core understanding of AWS's Well-Architected principles and services.
• Experience/knowledge of infrastructure security topics.
• Other cloud experience and/or certifications. AWS Preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of digital image processing.
• Experience with projects in the Geospatial Information Systems field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
