DESCRIPTION:
Thriver is seeking a Corporate Event Planner to oversee and execute a wide range of corporate events in 2023 including conferences, seminars, product launches, and company celebrations and holiday parties. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to conceptualize, plan, and coordinate all aspects of the events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations. Your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills will be crucial in designing unique and engaging experiences for our clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and requirements
- Provide on-site event management and troubleshooting during events
- Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services
- Create and manage event production schedules
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation
- Handle event budgeting, negotiation, and cost management
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of event planning principles and best practices
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience as a corporate event planner
- Experience with full G-suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
It is a contract role until the end of 2023 with a possibility of extension into 2024.
