Manager's Assistant (Construction) - $55k to $70k per year

What will you be doing?

• Dispatching/coordinating construction delivery driver
• Providing administrative support to ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of the Construction department
• Warranty Billing
• Assist warehouse team in ordering supplies, ensuring items are kept stocked and organization of yard/incoming equipment
• Other ad hoc duties as required
• HVAC and Plumbing permit applications
• Checking supplies coming into the facility and inventory order to ensure accuracy
• Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
• Scissor Lift Coordination/Maintenance
• Fleet Management
• Tool Management

What do you bring to this role?

• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook and databases
• Experience with VeriClock, Sling, Share My Toolbox and Samsara an asset, but not required
• Highly organized and has a knack for prioritizing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills exhibited through personal, phone, or email contact
• Basic understanding of construction
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Minimum 1- 2 years' experience working in similar role/industry
• Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring high standards of accuracy
• Ability to work with staff across multiple departments
• Capacity to work as part of a team of office employees in a busy environment
• Ability to follow instructions provided by Managers or other senior members of staff
