Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will support the PM to ensure the successful delivery of the high rise residential projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all tenant aspects of the project from drawing coordination.
  • Assist with negotiating subcontracts, contracts and purchase orders.
  • Interact with building officials and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor project costs through change order.
  • Follow-up on deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in developing recovery strategy if needed based on the timeline of the scheduled project.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects and engineers.
  • Complete project closeout documentation.
  • Review and update schedule, cash flow and forecast requirements bi-weekly with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Versed in the application of building codes.
  • Proven ability to work at heights.
  • Minimum 2 years of high rise residential project experience in a similar role.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction and understanding of drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to effectively communicate in meetings with stakeholders.
