Tool And Die Maker Responsibilities

Tool And Die Maker Qualifications

Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments like calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, etc.

Analyze blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to strategize the sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.

Assemble and fit parts together using machine tools and hand tools to create, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools.

Provide assistance in die changes utilizing a forklift and crane when necessary.

Strong knowledge of the BC and Canadian Electrical Code

Good communication skills both written and oral

Experience with industrial and/or commercial construction is an asset

Knowledge of water treatment and/or waste water treatment facility construction an asset

Must be a Registered 2nd Year Apprentice or Above

Able to work independently and efficiently in fast paced environment

Must have knowledge and competency of safe work procedures

Basic welding skills strongly recommended

Perform service, repair, diagnostic and preventative maintenance procedures on heavy duty AG and Construction equipment

Competent use of related instruments, diagnostic software and computer systems

Accurately document on work orders all machine information, actions taken and time.

Perform daily safety and maintenance check on heavy equipment

Ensures MAXIMO interface with GB spare parts Management processes are aligned Grupo Bimbo standards and helps resolve technical problems.

Depending on production requirements, associates may be assigned alternate duties and additional responsibilities

1 year work experience in a manufacturing company

Experience in handling inventory stocks items

Ensure correctness and completeness and good condition of all spare parts being served to requestors.

Ensure on-time receiving and issuing of requested stock items using MAXIMO for inventory items and existing database for non-inventory materials.

Daily operations of the Finance Department, including monthly and yearly reporting, as well as various special projects.

Oversee budget meetings with SG&A business managers on a quarterly basis.

Treasury/Cash flow: Manage and maintain cash flow.

4-5 years' previous experience in a similar role

Experience with multi-branch, currency & entity company structure

Leadership or mentorship experience is an asset.

$55k to $70k per year (depending on industry knowledge)
