WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The position is responsible for ensuring correctness, completeness, inventory monitoring, encoding of transactions and system maintenance for receiving, issuance, disposal of inventory technical parts, ensuring quality of all materials and products and compliance to current good manufacturing practices and operational safety.

Job Responsibility

• Ensures MAXIMO interface with GB spare parts Management processes are aligned Grupo Bimbo standards and helps resolve technical problems.
• Building meaningful relationship with Bimbo Canada associates and business partners.
• Supports the maintenance and sanitation teams by analyzing current inventory situation, system, processes, and come up with recommendations to improve warehouse operations in terms of inventory record accuracy, efficiency, safety, GMP compliance and savings in the operational costs.
• Maintain proper location and correct quantity of actual items base on physical count.
• Maintain proper purchasing documentation per vendor and contractor for audit.
• Ensure on-time receiving and issuing of requested stock items using MAXIMO for inventory items and existing database for non-inventory materials.
• Represents the maintenance department in cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate PO amount in issuing PO’s to vendors and contractors.
• Acts as the tool’s custodian.
• Ensure correctness and completeness and good condition of all spare parts being served to requestors.
• Ensures accurate and timely encoding of inventory transactions through MAXIMO.
• Interface with purchasing on deliveries and shipping matters
• Performs other duties and functions assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor in line with the department’s goals and objectives.
• Monitoring and review of inventory parts movement and other transactions
• Always ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping of storeroom areas.
• Receiving and storage of materials. Cycle count.
• On-time reporting of the status of all items as prescribed by the supervisor.
• Able to deal with vendors to find replacement of obsolete parts.
• Develops and implements monitoring and recording procedures that will effectively reconcile inventory variances with actual on hand. Prepares bi-monthly report of inventory record accuracy.
• Performs full cycle count activity.
• Assists in the investigation, analysis and reconciliation of inventory variance and recommends inventory adjustments.
• Develops and implements procedures for the accurate receiving, issuance and proper storage of inventory and non-inventory parts and materials.
• Implements effective periodic cycle count program.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

• Graduate of any technical related course
• 2nd year Diploma in Mechanical
• Experience in handling inventory stocks items
• 1 year work experience in a manufacturing company
• Working knowledge in MAXIMO

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Environment

• Start times, scope and duties of this position may change periodically
• Must be able to work shifts including days, evenings, nights based on a 24 hour/7 day a week operation, including general holidays
• Required to work in a fast-paced environment

Volume of work:

• Depending on production requirements, associates may be assigned alternate duties and additional responsibilities

Physical Requirement:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs overhead
• Frequent twisting, bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, kneeling, walking, and heavy lifting are required
