Truck Parts Technician Jobs

Journeyperson Parts Technician certification or 5 years of experience as a Parts Technician/Parts Advisor/Parts Person or similar position.

Experience with AGCO brands and/or Bourgault

Strong aptitude to understand technical requirements from clients and provide solutions.

Good computer skills to use a range of different sites.

Sourcing and recommending parts to clients on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands such as:

Journeyman parts certification an asset

Preference will be given to candidates with agricultural, industrial or heavy duty parts experience

Valid Class 5 drivers license

GET/Undercarriage knowledge is an asset.

Prior experience working as a Journeyperson Mechanic or mechanical background is considered a strong asset.

CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)

Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Parts and machinery knowledge would be an asset

Experience working with software systems

Stocking duties and organizing parts room

Answering phone inquiries related to the parts department

Advising customers on additional parts that may be beneficial to a repair or service

Promote sales to existing clients

Assess clients needs and recommend the appropriate goods or services

Prepare and administer sales contracts

Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Resolve product and service related problems

Following up on shortages and reporting shortages to Manager

Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge

Parts Technician (2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman) or equivalent experience

Providing customer service by answering parts inquiries and processing purchases

Supplying service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms

Verifying received shipments by checking order against shipping documents

Basic mathematical skills for inventory management.

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of HD or Automotive parts is an advantage.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Receive and process orders in person and over the phone using our computer database and parts catalogues.

Ensures MAXIMO interface with GB spare parts Management processes are aligned Grupo Bimbo standards and helps resolve technical problems.

Depending on production requirements, associates may be assigned alternate duties and additional responsibilities

1 year work experience in a manufacturing company

Experience in handling inventory stocks items

Ensure correctness and completeness and good condition of all spare parts being served to requestors.

Ensure on-time receiving and issuing of requested stock items using MAXIMO for inventory items and existing database for non-inventory materials.

Journeyman rate $43.87 per hour, plus shift premium.

5 days on and 2 off - 3 days on and 4 off; 2 pm to 12:30 am

Two years of verifiable mechanic experience.

Starting pay:$32 to $35 per hour plus shift premiums

($5/hr shift premiums for weekend shift )

Evening 3 pm - 1:30 am (Monday - Thursday) or Weekend Shift 7 am-7:30 pm (Friday to Sunday)

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Tool allowance after 1 year of service

Two years of verifiable mechanic experience.

Starting pay$33 to $36per hour plus shift premiums; $5/h shift premiums for weekend shift

3-5 years’ experience in Inventory Management

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/Inventory Management systems

3-5 years’ experience in a heavy equipment, construction or automotive parts and/or service environment
