Job Description

Douglas Lake Equipment Surrey is Greater Vancouver's Premier Construction, Commercial and Turf Equipment Dealer for Kubota and Kobelco products. We are proud to be the #1 choice for Kubota, and Kobelco Equipment, Rentals, Parts and Service.


Douglas Lake Equipment in Surrey is looking for a motivated, career-minded, professional individual looking to develop their career towards a Red Seal as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately document on work orders all machine information, actions taken and time.
  • Perform service, repair, diagnostic and preventative maintenance procedures on heavy duty AG and Construction equipment
  • Competent use of related instruments, diagnostic software and computer systems
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance check on heavy equipment


Qualifications

  • Committed to customer service, service excellence with good communication skills to work effectively with customers, the service team and other branch personnel
  • Must be willing to work as a team member
  • Basic welding skills strongly recommended
  • Must have respect for company policies
  • Must have valid passport for travel to factory training sessions
  • Registered with the ITA.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty mechanic trade
  • Must be able to complete work while being environmentally friendly
  • Must have knowledge and competency of safe work procedures

Wage Range: $25.00-28.00 per hour
