We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated, Commercial Transport/Heavy-Duty Journeyman, or Apprentice with experience, for our fast-paced Campbell River location.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive compensation package. Benefits include dental, extended health, tool and boot allowances.

Job Summary:

•Repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment.

•Ability to complete preventative maintenance inspections/service of trucks and trailers.

•Operation of OEM diagnostic testing software.

•Recondition and/or replacement of truck and trailer components using hand and pneumatic tools and precision measuring instruments.

•Completion of required paperwork for preventative maintenance and commercial vehicle inspections.

•Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques through physical and online training.

•Adhere to work place safety policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

•The successful candidate will be competent in all aspects of truck and trailer repairs.

•Commercial Vehicle Inspection certificate and/or Class 1 or 3 driver’s license, will be considered assets. Drivers abstract required.

•A 3rd or 4th year apprentice with some experience will be considered.
