Journeyman parts certification an asset

Preference will be given to candidates with agricultural, industrial or heavy duty parts experience

Valid Class 5 drivers license

Delivering an exceptional customer service experience

Parts and machinery knowledge would be an asset

Experience working with software systems

Stocking duties and organizing parts room

Answering phone inquiries related to the parts department

Advising customers on additional parts that may be beneficial to a repair or service

Following up on shortages and reporting shortages to Manager

Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge

Parts Technician (2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman) or equivalent experience

Providing customer service by answering parts inquiries and processing purchases

Supplying service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms

Verifying received shipments by checking order against shipping documents

Basic mathematical skills for inventory management.

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of HD or Automotive parts is an advantage.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Receive and process orders in person and over the phone using our computer database and parts catalogues.

3-5 years’ experience in Inventory Management

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/Inventory Management systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals within and outside of the organization

3-5 years’ experience in a heavy equipment, construction or automotive parts and/or service environment

Certification of Red Seal Parts Technician

Reliability of a long-term employment agreement

Monday to Friday schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with flexibility

•Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques through physical and online training.

•A 3rd or 4th year apprentice with some experience will be considered.

•Repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment.

•Ability to complete preventative maintenance inspections/service of trucks and trailers.

•Operation of OEM diagnostic testing software.

•Recondition and/or replacement of truck and trailer components using hand and pneumatic tools and precision measuring instruments.

Technician wages based on relevant experience (Current range is $37-$46 plus bonuses).

German vehicle experience is an asset but not required.

Yearly brand certification and training

Continued education, manufacturer hands-on and web-based training

Apprentice wages based on relevant year.

SAIT (AST) or equivalent is an asset but not required.

Tractor repair- PM's electrical work, brakes, suspension, engine diagnostics, general running repairs & PTO, and wet kit experience an asset.

Journeyman starting at $38.56/hour, plus $1.25 afternoon and $ 2.00 night shift premium after 6 pm.

Wednesday to Saturday 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday to Thursday 8:30 pm to 7:00 am

Trailer repair- PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension & product pump rebuild.

Basic tools required for the position.

Work safely, using directed PPE.

Experience in pole line construction.

JM powerline technician or substation technician. 434A or 309A required.

$42.5-$48/hr, 40hr week + overtime.
