Job Description

We are in particular need of an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic, effective immediately and would also consider the right 3rd or 4th year apprentices with experience.

Working directly under and reporting to Shop Services Manager, we are looking for an individual that would have the following minimum experience and skills:


  • Completing a vast variety of repairs to heavy transport trucks and/or heavy equipment for construction industry
  • Experience with record keeping of internal hours on work orders, etc.
  • Familiarity with work order completion processes
  • Organizing and ordering parts
  • Various work related software to be considered an asset
  • Preferably a minimum of 3 years previous experience with Commercial Trucks & Equipment
  • Able to asses field repairs required


Applicant must posses a clean and valid Class 5 drivers license or better and be able to pass pre-screening drug & alcohol testing and criminal record checks as this position may require you to work on customer owned sites repairing Twin Rivers assets.


This position will include working along side fellow mechanics & apprentices and report directly to the with field supervisors / workers and our upper management team so excellent communication and listening skills are required.

Based on qualifications and experience, a compensation package would be negotiated with an annual salary, overtime, and in addition to benefits to start after standard 3 month probationary period.
