Heavy-Duty level-3 or 4 certification or equivalent (At least three years of working experience as HD mechanics);

Heavy Equipment Technicians with Journeyperson certification

BC Journeyperson or Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification

Minimum 1 year of experience working on mining equipment

Knowledge of Cat ET/SiS system

$45.25 - $50.25 per hour

Follow Preventative Maintenance guidelines for all Mine Site machinery and equipment

Troubleshoot and repair Mining equipment in the shop and field

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Maintenance and repairs may include: cooling systems, air systems, brakes, tires, electrical systems and lubrication systems.

Valid class 3 driver’s license

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Previous experience working in remote camp setting

Willing to work in remote sites outside of a shop

Arctic experience would be an asset

Journey-Certified Heavy-Duty Mechanic/Interprovincial Red Seal Certification

A minimum 3-5 years mining equipment care and maintenance experience

Fly in fly out 3/3 rotations (Various Canadian Remote FIFO Locations)

Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment or Millwright Certification

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal

Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience will be recognized as an asset.

Non-Caterpillar experience such as Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins etc. is recognized as an asset.

Responsible for the maintenance and overhaul work in the natural gas compression and EPG industry in the field.

Experience with routine maintenance operations

Complete assigned tasks and deliver exceptional service

Disassemble, inspect, identify repairs, and perform necessary fixes

Install new and additional equipment

Test repaired equipment for optimal performance

Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubrication

CLAC benefits, RRSP, training allowance

Experience working on Caterpillar equipment and Caterpillar service information systems required

Previous haul truck experience would be an asset

Experience working in both a field and a shop environment considered an asset

CLAC rate: $55.50/hr, time and a half after 8 hours per day

Shift - 14 on 14 off, 6 on 6 off, 14 and 7. Shifts may vary.
