Job Description
$45-$55 per hour plus benefits
8am - 5pm Monday-Friday
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman HD Technician to join our team in Lac La Biche, AB. Your primary responsibility will be to perform expert mechanical repair and maintenance on medium to heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, and specialized equipment as required. This role involves conducting inspections, troubleshooting, disassembling, aligning, assembling, and adjusting mechanical machinery to ensure efficient operation.
Job Duties:
  • Stay updated on technology and repair techniques
  • Prioritize safety and adhere to occupational health regulations
  • Complete assigned tasks and deliver exceptional service
  • Test repaired equipment for optimal performance
  • Maintain detailed and precise maintenance reports and documentation
  • Disassemble, inspect, identify repairs, and perform necessary fixes
  • Install new and additional equipment
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubrication
  • Thrive in a team environment with minimal supervision
Role Requirements:
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Must provide own tools
  • Hold a valid driver's license, Class 1 or 3 with Q endorsement preferred
  • Perform well under pressure with keen attention to detail
  • CVIP License preferred
  • Possess a valid Alberta or equivalent Journeyman's certificate
  • Demonstrated mechanical proficiency in hydraulics, electrical, and engine repair
  • Strong diagnostic skills
