Job Title: Construction Site Clerk
Location: Toronto (and surrounding area), ON, Canada

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Site Clerk to join our team. As a Construction Site Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of our construction sites, ensuring efficient communication and administrative tasks are carried out effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of construction materials and supplies.
- Assist with the coordination of project schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Provide general administrative support to the construction site team, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized construction site office.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project-related documentation, such as contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the construction site.
- Prepare and distribute various reports, including daily progress reports, safety reports, and project updates.
- Support the procurement process by preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and information flow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within the construction industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in a relevant field is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and regulations is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management software is a plus.
