Description Of Duties


  • Responsible for maintaining your own personal phone for communicating with other team members and supervisors. Your phone plan must include data for daily logs through our administrative tracking apps.
  • Install Ramboard and other types of flooring protection
  • Responsible for compiling a daily log on tasks completed as well as progress photographs
  • Load and unload garbage and recycling materials into the company vehicle when going on dump runs
  • General site maintenance and clean-up required on all job sites
  • Take drywall to the drywall depot in New Westminster
  • Must be comfortable driving a larger work van and knowledgeable of the greater metro Vancouver area
  • Assist with project clean out at the end of each project
  • Maintain a high quality of standard when cleaning and organizing work sites
  • Drive to various suppliers to pick up material and deliver to multiple job sites
  • Assisting other team members with demolition
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work van and storage lockers
  • Drive to multiple sites and the storage locker to drop off or pick up materials and tools so that other team members can meet scheduling goals
  • Take direction eagerly and enthusiastically from other team members in a senior position. As a team we are all trying to accomplish the same goal so it is important that we all work together and assist each other so that everyone can complete their work efficiently


Skills And Requirements


  • Minimum of 2 years working as a crew member in the construction industry
  • A clean driver’s license
  • Previous experience driving a RAM 2500 or similar is advantageous
  • In depth knowledge of the greater metro Vancouver area


Compensation


  • 11 paid statutory holidays a year
  • 2 weeks’ paid vacation per year
  • Competitive hourly compensation ($25 an hour)
  • Gas mileage compensation
