Labourer | Disassembly Jobs

Our client has an immediate need for several General Labour candidates in a busy construction rental company. As general labourer working in disassembly, you will be responsible for removing plywood from steel frames. This opportunity could turn into long-term employment with career growth and position advancement to the Returns Team! This is a very manual job and is perfect for someone who likes working with their hands and tools!
What you need to know:
Location: River road, Delta
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Time: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm
Wage: $19/hour
Transit accessible
Temporary with opportunity for long term hire permanent position
Job duties:

• Hammer out plywood to remove from steel frames
• Working outside mostly
• Report to Reconditioning Lead Hand

Responsibilities

• Working outside mostly
• Report to Reconditioning Lead Hand
• Hammer out plywood to remove from steel frames
• Makes sure equipment is properly placed and returned to its designated storage location

Qualifications

• Good attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication skills and compression skills
• Mechanical aptitude and comfortable using hand tools
• Previous experience in a construction or building materials yard is a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without a mechanical assist
• Be willing/able to work overtime as required
• Be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions
