Job Description
Randstad is hiring temp Labour workers. Our Surrey, BC facility in the Guildford area is looking to hire temporary General Labourers to join our expanding team!
You will make a great fit if you have a background in a fast paced distribution environment and can work efficiently in a warehouse setting. Previous General Labour experience is considered an asset. As a Labourer you will be helping the assemblers in installations, operating pallet jack, and supporting where needed as a floater. This role requires urgency, efficiency, attention to detail and comfortability handling parts up to 50 pounds.
Shift: Sunday- Thursday
Time: 10:30PM - 7:00AM (graveyard shift)
Wage: $20 an hour + 4% vacation pay
Area: Surrey, BC (Guildford)
This is a full-time position, the ideal candidate will need to be available to start immediately

Responsibilities
  • General warehouse maintenance and up keep
  • Completing modular activities all in a safe and clean environment.
  • Ensuring items are accurately picked and identified to avoid discrepancies
  • Assissting the assemblers in installations
  • CAPing bins, stocking picks, completing section work
  • Material handling duties; Loading and unloading the items
  • Adhering to all safety and equipment regulations, and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Operating pallet jack to load and unload the items
Qualifications
  • You bring a minimum of 6 months in a warehouse or asembly work in fast paced distribution environment
  • Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
  • Able to stand for 8 hours per shift
  • Can follow set of instructions and safety procedures as required
  • You are capable to work in a fast paced distribution environment with speed, reliability and accuracy
  • Comfortable and experienced operating pallet jack
  • Ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies in excess of 50lbs
  • Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
  • You can provide references
