Skilled Labourer Jobs

Valard Construction is Canada’s premier utility contractor, as well as head of the Valard Group of Companies and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy.

We are currently looking for qualified labourers for a project in Revelstoke, BC. The position will be 6 on/1 off and run into October. Valard will provide accommodations.

Requirements

• Setting forms and supporting concrete forms – can remove
• Working with hand power tools
• Taking direction from crew lead on various tasks
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Loading/unloading construction material both mechanically and by hand
• Working around heavy equipment and assisting operators
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Packing tools into trucks

Qualifications:

• Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work in a team
• Valid Drivers license is an asset, will need to provide driver’s abstract
