Clay Construction is looking for a full-time site manager capable of thrilling our clients while successfully completing the construction/renovation of their homes with the following qualifications:

• Familiarity with building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle is required.
• Minimum 5 + years’ experience of site supervision in residential construction in BC.
• Mastery of reading plans and ID drawings, construction sequencing and methodologies.
• Experience working with BuilderTrend would be an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a resident of Canada.

Accountabilities

·Accountable for overall quality assurance of managed projects and for ensuring that all parts of managed projects stand up to third party scrutiny and meet and exceed client expectations;

·Accountable for all elements of site related operations of managed projects to ensure projects are kept on track, issues and risks identified and mitigated and trade specialists are monitored and supported;

·Accountable to ensure each client receives the home they were promised, built to agreed-upon standards and built through the process we agree is our “Clay Way”;

·Accountable to ensure that the CEO is made aware of any significant site related risks or issues that may require CEO assistance or intervention from a client relations standpoint.Also ensures that the back office (project manager and office manager) is kept informed regarding issues, risks, etc.; and,

·Accountable to ensure full compliance with all safety standards and requirements on all sites and at all times and to ensure that every team member and specialist returns home safely to their family at the end of every day.

Compensation:

·Salary $80,000 to $110,000/year based on experience and ability to successfully complete several projects concurrently.

·Profit sharing opportunities are offered after completion of a year.

Location
