THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a leader of all things process, improvements, construction and operations! Someone who can take the lead, manage systems, and help support the company with day-to-day operations and processes with projects and within the construction space as a whole.
This role will assist in developing policies, procedures and systems to help create efficient processes for the company's operations. There is a high level of understanding the needs of the business and creating systems that improve and instill quality to the operations. There will also be a need to have this role support the development of long term strategies and planning solutions as well as having an input and overall view of the financial budgeting and systems for projects.
This individual will need to have a strong knowledge of construction management specifically in the sectors of commercial and institutional construction. The Operations Manager will lead teams of Project Managers and Site Superintendents and will need to have a good network with local Contractors to manage projects effectively.
  • Excellent project management skill set with a tech savviness and a strong focus on process improvement
  • Strong experience developing systems and policies that improve the overall project management/construction process
  • Very strong leadership skill set with experience managing multiple disciplines and teams
  • Exposure to financial planning, budget overview and strategic planning within a construction environment
  • 8+ years' experience as a Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager or Operations Manger in a construction environment ideally in the Okanagan Valley
