Hello and thank you for your time. We are Cabin Operations Ltd., a cool company that works in the environmental, recreation and wildfire sectors. We are happy and pleased to post this position of General Manager. A few notes about us if you have not heard already. We have been in operation for over 27 years in BC, starting out in forestry, now branching out into environmental operations, wildfire management and recreation solutions. We are a passionate bunch - we love restoring habitats, building bike trails and protecting communities from wildfire. We have a solid, competent team of managing partners to assist with professional development and success in your new role.
Responsibilities:
As a General Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee financials and manage accounting department
- Implement the vision across all three divisions (Enviro, Rec, and Wildfire) for revenue growth, business development and culture
- Deal with the administrative/operational details to ensure business runs behind the scenes (accounting, legal, banking, etc.)
- Set the strategic vision for Cabin Ops along with the Partners
- Ensure the efficient use of our team and equipment
- Improve accounting, reporting, cultural, training, business dev systems and processes
- Assist the Business Dev Lead at Cabin Ops and the GM at Cabin Resource Management with business development.
- Mentor Cabin Ops PMs, Div Managers, and Business Development Team and provide them with better systems and tools
- Oversee customer satisfaction process
