Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedChief Operating Officer or COOto oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’ssecond-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.


The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have tomaintain control of diverse business operations, so weexpect you to bean experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.

The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Clinic Ops, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)
  • Drive a culture of action – execution and accountability – across all functions, promoting a performance-driven approach to clinic operations.
  • Efficiently manage operational budgets, optimizing resource allocation to achieve operational and financial targets and accountable to the results of their area.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity at the clinic level, promoting engagement and a sense of belonging among staff.
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Drive revenue and EBITDA growth by utilizing data to make informed decisions and drive operational improvements.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Vancouver and global Men’s Health communities, positioning Pollock as a preferred choice for top clinical outcomes.
  • Provide leadership to the Vancouver-area clinics, ensuring a consistent, high-quality patient care experience across all clinics and product lines.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and operational objectives in alignment with Pollock Clinics’ overarching goals and mission.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements to uphold Pollock Clinics esteemed reputation.
  • Drive Pollock Clinics’ key KPIs and accountable to the results of their area.

Requirements

  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • This is an action-oriented role; must have a proven record for ‘getting things done’
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officeor relevant role
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Experience in fundraising will be a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

Compensation

Pay: $200,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
