The Role:

Are you passionate about numbers? Do you have high attention to detail? Our growing software company is looking for a dedicated Canadian Payments Administrator based in Downtown Vancouver, BC to join our team!

Location:

We are considering eligible candidates for this role in the Vancouver area as this is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site work in our Downtown Vancouver office. Office hours will be Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm.


Responsibilities:

As a Canadian Payments Administrator with Push Operations, you will provide exceptional service to clients as you assist them with all payments related inquiries through the following key responsibilities:


  • Assist with T4's, RL-1s, and various Year End Filings
  • Assist both internal team and external clients with payments and billing inquiries or concerns via email
  • Assist with any new duties that arise
  • Documenting all new and update existing internal processes and procedures
  • Assist Canadian Payroll Operations to ensure all Employee and Government payments are paid on time and accurately
  • Prepare and Process ACH payment files for clients and vendors


Requirements:

  • You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • You are proficient with software systems including but not limited to MS Word and MS Excel
  • You understand the importance of handling confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
  • You pride yourself on exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have minimum of 1 year of Accounting and/or Payment Operations Experience
  • Experience with working with outside government agencies (For example CRA, Service Canada, Ontario EHT, Provincial Workers Compensation Board)
  • You are solution-oriented
  • You have a natural ability to analyze challenges proactively
