Our client, in Canada is looking to hire "Business Analyst" to join their team.
Your new role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) certified Business Analyst to join our team. As a SAFE certified professional, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and document business needs, ensuring alignment with agile and SAFE principles. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, SQL, data flow, and digital technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and objectives.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and other data analysis tools.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in digital technologies related to business analysis and data management.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback to ensure the quality and usability of delivered solutions.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and other agile artifacts to facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business and development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop data-driven dashboards and reports.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
What you need to Succeed:
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
- SAFE certification is mandatory.
- Familiarity with digital technologies and their application in business analysis and data management.
- Proven work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, particularly the SAFE framework, and experience working in agile teams.
- Solid understanding of data flow concepts and data modeling principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong proficiency in ETL processes and tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
