This position is for a Business Systems Analyst on the High Value Payments Technology team. The successful applicant can expect to be involved with story/MVP definitions, business process change managements, impact analysis, application development, test strategy and post production supports. The candidate will need to have a breadth and depth of experience in financial industry, ideally on Payments process in order to devise solutions that will integrate appropriately


Successful Candidate will be given opportunity to become subject matter expert in 360 degree of SWIFT payment processing, involve in enterprise and potentially industry level discussions. Work within an environment that cultivate leadership skills for career advancements.


What will you do?


  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Provides input into development of technical solutions to track & monitor application availability / latency statistics & help design improved reporting process.
  • Contribute to delivering projects on target, scope and quality.
  • Provide 24X7 operational support on rotational basis.
  • Actively participate in retrospective sessions to continuously improve processes and practices.
  • Leading integrated and user acceptance testing to ensure that the system meets the outlined requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities for processes and system improvement
  • Communicate effectively across diverse audiences, departments and levels acting as a SME in the assigned line of business.
  • Excellent knowledge in the domain of payments (Swift knowledge will be highly valued)
  • Performs scripted daily & ad hoc system health checks. Coordinate / work with development teams to communicate any potential technical issues to be solved before affecting the Bank’s customers.
  • Translate requirements of functionality into user stories & actively participate in product backlog prioritization.
  • Working within an Agile environment, collaborate with developers and business stakeholders on system changes, upgrades and new implementations as needed.
  • Transfer knowledge to peers and foster a culture of learning in becoming subject matter experts within your domain.


What do you need to succeed?


  • Very strong communication skills (written & verbal) required
  • Prior leadership experience desirable
  • Experienced working in high impact & mission critical systems, and track record of successful implementations involving major business changes
  • Analytical, detail oriented, highly organized
  • Experience with Service Now, Confluence, JIRA, MS Office 365 required
  • Background in financial systems and/or operations preferred
