Business Analyst, Financial Services Group

Our Business Analysts demonstrate a high level of technical, industry knowledge and skills, working on various end to end business analysis assignments within our technology consulting.

You are ambitious, enthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. You are confident, ambitious and have the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to changing needs and environments while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Ability to identify project issues and risks and prepare mitigation plans
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and/or recommendations related to proposed solutions
• Participate in project planning and administration. This includes creating process maps, supporting metrics, progress reports, client briefings, presentations, deliverables and recommendation documents
• Requirements gathering, gap analysis, planning & monitoring, conducting workshops, and writing business cases & uses case
• Participate in change management activities
• Ability to develop, manage, and execute end-to-end solutions to clients’ needs and requirements
• Lead, participate and oversee overall end to end business analysis in support of Technology-related projects and programs

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum is considered a strong asset
• Required Education: Related University Degree
• Previous technology advisory and management consulting experience, is considered a strong asset
• Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet aggressive timelines
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years as a BA and/or BSA, supporting Technology-related projects and programs, is required
• Prior experience in data-oriented requirements gathering and working with data team is considered a strong asset
• Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, planning & monitoring, testing, conducting workshops, and writing business cases & uses case, is required
• Preferred Education: Post-Graduate degree, MBA, CBAP, PMP,or other relevant designations (e.g., technology certifications); or equivalent experience
• Project management experience leading small project team, is considered a strong asset
• Innovative and dynamic. Brings an entrepreneurial spirit to our business
• Excellent facilitation skills and ability to sell ideas and recommendations to various stakeholders, is required
