Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the Administrative Assistant will support with various payroll-related tasks and administrative duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to


  • Develop and foster a friendly, courteous atmosphere amongst the workplace, staff, and residents.
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll department, such as filing, preparing, organizing and storing information in paper and digital, updating records, data entry, maintaining and moving saved files, payroll support, and assist colleagues and employees when necessary;
  • Perform general administrative duties such as, mail, inter-office communications, outgoing correspondence, etc.;


The successful candidate is someone with the ability to work autonomously with a high level of accountability and professionalism. You have the ability to build rapport with people at all levels and always approach people with a smile. You are highly organized; you work well under pressure; and most importantly, you can adapt to changing timelines and priorities on the fly.



Skills And Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a certificate, diploma or degree in Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Previous administrative office experience will be considered an asset;
  • Experience or interest in construction, marketing and/or events administration.
  • A strong work ethic - eager to learn, resourceful, and committed;
  • High level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to deal with highly confidential information;
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written); confidence and ability to communicate with all levels of management;
