Interior Health is seeking a reliable and flexible Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our Long-term Care team at Pleasant Valley Manor in beautiful Armstrong, B.C.

About The Job
The Registered Nurse:

• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Provides nursing care to Long-term Care patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team

This is a TERM SPECIFIC FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY until April 1, 2024, or the return of the incumbent.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights; rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

This facility is an 82 bed complex care facility (81 permanent, 1 respite) equipped with services and 24 hour staff devoted to creating a comfortable living environment.
