Overview Document Control is a specialized role within an organization that is responsible for managing the flow of documents and information. This includes the creation, storage, retrieval, and distribution of documents. Document Control professionals ensure that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational policies and procedures. Detailed Job Description Document Control professionals are responsible for the creation, storage, retrieval, and distribution of documents. This includes the creation of new documents, the maintenance of existing documents, and the archiving of documents that are no longer in use. Document Control professionals must ensure that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational policies and procedures. They must also ensure that documents are properly stored and secured, and that they are accessible to authorized personnel. Document Control professionals must also be able to track and monitor document changes, and ensure that documents are properly distributed. Job Skills Required Document Control professionals must have excellent organizational and communication skills. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
