We’re looking for our next Document Control Administrator. Could It Be You?


The purpose of the Document Control Administrator is to facilitate and support the progression of account life-cycle through proper management of documentation. This includes new and closed accounts’ document handling.


What’s it like working as a Document Control Administrator at Questrade?


The Document Control Administrator will be responsible for the proper administration of documents to ensure accounts are correctly funneling through the different stages of account life cycle. This will start with sorting, processing and storing account documents/deposits of new accounts and end with the eventual placement and management of documentation/information of closed accounts. Proper documentation is critical to the business.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Prepare and review daily closed account reports
  • Review new account documents for completion and accuracy
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Delivers all deposits to the bank
  • Identify closed account documents for immediate destruction
  • Filing and retrieving documentation as required
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail/courier service
  • Process all client deposits (cheques, drafts etc.) and correctly enter information into our electronic system
  • Process client requests from a range of back office queues
  • Maintain daily all daily logs properly
  • Scan paper documents into electronic format
  • Locate and prepare closed account documents for long-term storage and eventual destruction
  • Sort and organize paper-based client account documentation received via mail

  • Have strong organization skills
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Ha the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Have secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Have 6 months -1 year related work experience


Additional Kudos If You…


  • Have experience in Administration or Client Services is an asset
  • Have Successfully completed the CSC and CPH.
