Job Description
Canada Hiring Range: ($53,200.00 CAD - $73,150.00 CAD Annually)
This is a 6-month fixed term position.
Must be able to be in the Mozilla Toronto Office (366 Adelaide St W #500, Toronto, ON M5V 1R9, Canada) twice a week.
This individual will report to the Workplace Experience Manager in a distributed team setting. This role will juggle concurrent tasks and projects, and will create partnerships within the team and our partner orgs, requiring excellent communication. This person will need to be forward-thinking, autonomous and flexible. They will be comfortable working in a remote environment and are willing to try new things, and new ways to solve issues that will arise.
Role/Responsibilities
  • Facilitate inbound event requests in partnership with event team
  • Support the travel team with backend tool management (Navan)
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding office/coworking space needs
  • Identify and design opportunities for space management improvements
  • Collaborate with various teams (i.e. IT, People Operations, Finance, Legal, DEI, Sustainability) to execute projects and improve employee experience
  • Lead the operations and support of our Eastern North America spaces (Toronto office + coworking spaces) including facilities management and communications with employees
  • Maintain and regularly audit process documentation
  • Track budget and spend for space operations
  • Responsible for creating Casa tickets, managing POs, and tracking invoices for projects/vendors as identified by manager
  • Responsible for project management of a variety of ad hoc and ongoing projects
  • Delegation of projects will occur as growth progression occurs. Projects that may be delegated include: Jira Service Management, Travel program, Coworking space program
  • Source vendors as needed

Qualifications
  • Proactive about finding solutions, can problem solve without being asked
  • Familiar with video conferencing tools (Zoom)
  • Ability to shift as needed and takes on duties outside the normal scope of work
  • Strong working computer knowledge (Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Able to travel internationally as needed
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions on your own
  • Knowledge of/familiarity with the high-tech world, open source community a plus
  • Able to occasionally work after hours for emergencies as needed
  • Helps others on the team problem solve
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, showing strong attention to detail
  • Self-directed, independent problem solver (does not need to be told)
  • Passionate about inclusivity and creating an exciting experience
  • Experience working remotely
  • Experience with travel tools is a plus: Navan, Egencia, TripActions, or others
