As a 14-month fixed term Regional Insights Lead on the Insights Solutions team, you’ll manage a team of talented Analysts to sell the unique value of Pinterest through insights, and drive advertiser value across multiple markets. In partnership with other leads, you’ll influence and build the strategic pillars of the sub-functional team.

What You’ll Do

• Accountable for the performance and results of their team, while ensuring and maintaining a high quality of content
• Lead and coach a team of 3 insights specialists across Canada and Asia-Pacific (APAC) in delivering actionable insights for local sales teams
• Translate data into compelling and actionable narratives, while factoring in stakeholder input/needs
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems, while understanding and recognizing broader impact across teams
• Most times, be the only insights SME in the room, and can guide and influence others to adapt a different point of view
• Design, execute, and build several insights systems and programs aligned with functional pillars and objectives

What We’re Looking For

• An independent problem solver, and solutions-focused
• Comfortable speaking to and have an understanding of big data
• Curious and empathic leader who can apply understanding of business needs and insights expertise to multiple stakeholders and achieve team objectives within team resources
• Ability to manage and set clear expectations across multiple stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc.)
• Experience leading research projects from start to finish: survey design, sample recruitment, monitoring, vendor project management, results interpretation/ analysis.
• 6+ years of experience in insights, program management, or marketing strategy
• 3+ years digital ads experience working in insights/market research/analytics
• An expert in research methodologies and syndicated audience data, and strong ability to tell highly engaging and actionable insights stories
• The ability to own global programs (which includes project management, setting expectations and influencing various stakeholders, and delegating necessary tasks to ensure progress)
• Nice to have: +2 years of experience managing individual contributors (2+ people)
