Position Summary
The Virtual Care Product Manager is for a new role created to support improvements in two core products in the Teladoc Health Canada platform: Telemedicine and Expert Medical Services (EMS). The Manager will focus on operational needs for improved processes, efficiencies and team engagement for the two products. There will be close collaboration with the Operations team. In addition, the role is paramount for ensuring the products evolve to meet key customer needs, in particular customizations including white labelling, integrations and eligibility. The role will apply best practices for product management along the product lifecycle to support maximal outcomes and expansion of telemedicine and EMS in Canada.
Role and Responsibilities
- Keep stakeholders involved by gathering input and communicating progress. This may include stakeholders from sales, account management, product management, operations, IT, Information management, clients/partners, etc.
- Support product director in PI planning and execution cycles as well as identifying and managing KPIs
- Contribute to the strategizing, planning and execution of the Product Management team for Teladoc Health Canada
- Work collaboratively with the appropriate user research, content, developer leads to ensure product initiatives (PIs) that are executed.
- Ensure ongoing communication with product, operations, and commercial teams regarding PI status. Support dev and user research teams in engaging internal stakeholders for user testing, etc.
- Establish evaluation plan to ensure PIs have intended impacts (process and outcomes), monitor and analyze data for telemedicine and EMS.
- Manage key project risks and issues, including appropriate escalation to sponsors and leadership to include product management, commercial, and clinical Operations.
- Proactively manage and prioritize analysis and facilitation activities across key project initiatives.
- Support commercial team in translating customer/partner customization requirements including branding/white labelling, integration and eligibility working closely with US team to harmonize requirements with the global platforms for the two products
- Develop and lead product feature improvements (new and existing enhancements) with the operation and commercial teams to inform product roadmap for telemedicine and EMS
- Support translation of product feature requests into requirements, acceptance criteria and ensuring a robust value proposition is articulated. This includes documenting relevant materials including user journeys, timelines, etc. in confluence, product board, JIRA, etc.
- Align with the broader product strategies and whole person care (WPC) thesis of Teladoc Health via annual and quarterly PI cycles establishing a methodology for prioritization.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Required:
- Strong analytical and consultative skills.
- Minimum +2 to 5 years of direct relevant work experience in product management (Product management experience within healthcare settings a strong asset)
- Previous success in leading product development projects in complex business process environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Self-starter mentality with experience working with remote teams.
- Expertise in relevant business software (Microsoft Office Suite), product software (product board, confluence, JIRA, Miro, FIGMA)
- Experience working collaboratively with business users, and technical teams in multiple geographies.
- Bachelor’s degree required (additional years of work experience may be substituted)
Preferred:
- SAFE knowledge is a plus
- Master’s Degree
- Salesforce Experience
- User design and facilitation training
