- Required to work with Sales team, District Managers, Regional Sales Managers, his/her associates and industry marketers and customers to support the implementation of industry/marketing plan
- Increase flexibility and agility in team-selling; viewed as a trusted partner in team-selling
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Key Account Managers to identify external target business opportunities across team territory
- Participate in account audits
- Responsible for troubleshooting specific customer technical problems
- Provide advanced recommendations for (multiple) product application and optimization. Highly proficient in troubleshooting, product selection, application, and articulating solutions to the internal and external customer
- Proofing and editing recommendations of Technical Service Professionals III, II and Sales
- Responsible for influencing, read and/or responding to RFPs (Request for Proposal) and Specifications
- Develops technically appropriate product selection to maximize profitability when recommending products and programs
- Responsible for project ownership. Functions interdependently with increased versatility
- Responsible for Customer facing presentations
- Partner in execution of team territories sales growth plans in collaboration with Sales under limited supervision of senior leaders
- Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
- Assists in performing customer account management activities under the guidance and supervision of experienced sales professionals
- Attend CMT (customer chemical management team), CAT, etc. meetings to leverage opportunities
- Responsible for development and deployment of best practices for numerous products and programs within an industry segment
- Lead SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) Analysis
- Lead in training customers, Technical Service Professional III and II as well as Sales personnel in an internal or customer facing environment
- Participate in industry events such as AMPP conferences
- Proactively solve customer problems in ways that accelerate business growth in alignment with plan and targets
- Engage in Health Check (audit) of accounts in team territory
- Ensures a safe work environment, promotes a safety culture and actively works to achieve goal zero. Promptly reports every incident, near miss, or injury to leader as soon as feasibly possible
- Work closely with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within team territory a
- Participate in sales calls at all relevant levels of the customer organization
- Provide support to TSP III and II as well as salespeople for more complex situations. Requested to support customer jeopardy situations
- Raise technical competency of Sales personnel
- Responsible for cross functional collaboration
- Coordinate technical review of must keep and must win accounts
- Participate in all types of field work, including sampling and testing knowledge, and transfer that expertise to more junior representatives through active training and coaching
- Responsible for working with field organization to identify and capture the impact of company programs/applications/systems in clear financial terms
- Work with field organization to identify needs, problems, determine effective solutions and help document specifications. Identify large account opportunities and coordinate with Key Account Managers and Sales Mgmt.
- Routinely solve complex customer problems across multiple product lines
- Act as primary trainer for new employees in team territory
- Actively participate in sales campaigns across area of responsibility
- Relentless safety focus
- Proactively audit junior representatives to ensure they have learned and incorporated safe practices while conducting field work
- Project focused; ownership and accountability from scoping through to implementation
- Designs comprehensive treatment applications in team territory

- Travel 20%, possible overnight travel to support team territory
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Candidate must reside in Grande Prairie, AB or surrounding areas.
- BA/BS in a science or technical diploma in relevant field
- 5+ years minimum industry experience.
- Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
- Demonstrated ability to function with agility and interdependence and an advanced knowledge of customers, problems, and solutions across team territory
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Recognized within the local industry as proficient in troubleshooting, product selection, application, and articulating solutions to the internal and external customers
- Demonstrated resilience to succeed over a wide range of broad, diverse situations across team territory
- Experience in providing recommendations for oilfield product application and optimization
- Personality, attitude, behavior, and work ethic conductive to our company culture
- Advanced technical sales focused communication skills; both written and verbal
