Our client is one of North America’s leading gas gathering and processing businesses. With operations in Northeast British Columbia and Northwest Alberta, they provide connectivity for its customers to major demand markets including the U.S. Pacific Northwest, U.S. Midwest and Western Canada.

Their assets include 13 owned and operated gas processing facilities and related assets throughout the Montney in Northeast British Columbia. We are actively recruiting for the role of Technical Services Analyst. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Lead, this role will be part of an IT infrastructure team that ensures exceptional customer service, provides support and administration for critical IT infrastructure and exhibits leadership throughout their day-to-day activities. This role will also be responsible for managing the corporate mobility platform, including the corporate MDM platform as well as basic IT related administrative duties as required.

Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to corporate and field employees in resolving their IT related issues both in-person and remotely. Respond to, document and resolve all IT related support issues logged in clients IT service platform: ServiceNow. Exhibit exceptional leadership qualities and display initiative that will proactively reduce future issues, outages or problems for clients employees. Monitor, communicate and assist in the resolution of identified issues related to critical IT infrastructure systems. Provide support for and participate in the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization, including mobility, software applications, network, phone systems and end-user computers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain documentation on critical system infrastructure. Work proactively, independently, and creatively on technical projects within a motivated and supportive team. Participate in all phases of IT network and infrastructure related projects with a strong troubleshooting mindset. Participate in the on-call support rotation. Other related duties, as assigned by supervisor. Required: University Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant discipline. Equivalent experience is acceptable as well. 2+ years' experience supporting and resolving IT deskside issues. Some relevant corporate experience supporting IT networking issues. Preferred: Microsoft and/or Cisco related certifications. 1+ years' experience in supporting and resolving IT networking issues. Some relevant corporate Azure or any cloud infrastructure experience. Hands-on experience with monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools. Understanding and experience with managing server, network and telecommunication systems. Ability to effectively communicate technology, infrastructure and process needs at all staff levels. OTHER: This is a high growth, fast paced organization.
