As a Technical Manager you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance and the product technical requirements for the Edmonton site. You will manage the technical department and will input your ideas to generate innovation and technical development while ensuring process/product conformance.

You will master the Quality Assurance culture through training, coaching, and mentoring. You will plan and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance to the quality management system. You will be responsible to direct and oversee technical improvements in the sites to improve product quality, cost, and effectiveness.

Overall, you will work with the Site Manager and collaborate on compliance, CAPA, audit scheduling and findings. Your expertise in developing resource requirements and advise on technical standards is relied on.

Key Technical Criteria:

• Extensive experience is pressure piping fabrication
• Relevant education in Mechanical Engineer or Engineering Technologist
• Expertise in Non-Destructive Testing- UT, RT, LPI, PMI CGSB Level 2 and Destructive Testing- Tensile, Charpy, Abrasion
• Proficient in AMSE codes
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance leadership
