THE POSITION

In your role, as an IT Account Manager you will be capable of building and managing your own business, you will be interacting to find and engage with a wide range of prospects and clients and introducing them to skilled candidates who are actively looking on the job market.

▪ Working on assignments for a variety of roles, from Helpdesk to leadership positions

▪ Build a network of contacts within each organization along with industry specific accounts

▪ Sustain and grow current business by developing and maintaining strong working relationships

with the decision-makers.

▪ Actively pursue new business opportunities by researching new customer groups, new clients

and new business strategies.

▪ Formally meet with potential clients and make convincing proposals and presentations in order

to secure new business and achieve established sales targets

▪ Actively gather competitive intelligence within the business environment, including client

groups, competitors with government departments


QUALIFICATIONS

▪ Knowledge of the IT industry (i.e.: Key Roles, Trends, Technologies)

▪ MUST HAVE sales, business development or cold calling experience.

▪ Previous recruitment experience is a nice to have.

▪ You are goal-oriented, purposeful in building new and existing relationships, competitive but

thrive in a team environment with the self-motivation to make things happen.

▪ You thrive on personal achievement.

▪ You find purpose in helping people advance their careers and seeing companies grow


COMPENSATION

At Hays, we offer a dynamic and high-performing work environment where our uncapped commission structure surpasses industry standards. We are committed to recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of our employees. The salary for this role consists of a base salary of $50,000 - $60,000, with an average earning potential of $95,000 in the first year. However, it is important to note that there is ample opportunity to exceed this earning potential.
