The opportunity:
Reporting to the Director HR Services, the Talent Management Specialists is responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of talent management strategies and the full cycle talent management process. This position will be developing and enhancing recruitment processes, assessing organizational needs, attracting talent, managing the candidate’s experience, assessment of candidates and managing the onboarding process.

The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
- Understanding of talent acquisition required.
- A post-secondary education in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter) designation is preferred.
- Professional knowledge of HR principles, policies, theories, and trends required.
- Effective communication and consultation skills required.
- Proficiency with computer and communication technology and software, including MS Office products, VIP or relevant HRIS/payroll systems, and applicant tracking systems required.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and internal HR team required.
- A minimum of 6-8 years in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
- Experience and knowledge in facilitating best practices talent management strategies required.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and regulation governing human resource management in Manitoba preferred.
