Staffing Agency Recruiter

We are an experiential marketing agency that is looking to add a recruiter to our office located in the downtown King West area. We specialize in hiring and managing brand ambassadors who represent different clients and brands in exciting promotions across Canada, so rely heavily on hiring the right type of people to bring that brand to life. This role will offer recruiters the chance to work in a fast paced and creative environment with continuous opportunities for growth.

As a recruiter, we will look to you to utilize your knowledge and skills to manage the recruiting process by identifying key talent and candidates in marketplaces across Canada. You will source candidates through our existing database, contact lists as well as your own direct recruiting practices. You will run the recruitment process based on changing priorities and client needs, and speak with candidates to evaluate their skills. This role will integrate heavily with the Account Team and will require communication and planning on an ongoing basis with our team to ensure overall seamless activations.

Tasks Include But Are Not Exclusive To

• Source and contact passive candidates online
• Update account team and clients on hiring status
• Conducting telephone and live interviews and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires
• Development of new recruitment ideas and strategies
• Working with the company social media
• Prepare candidate profiles for client review
• Publish job ads on career pages, job boards and social media
• Keep detailed records of past applicants information, including resumes, assignments and interview evaluations
• Answering online and telephone inquiries
• Reviewing and screening submitted applications
• Managing staff profiles
• Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong relationships
• Create talent pipelines with high potential candidates for other job opportunities
• Prepare candidates before any live client interviews
• Conduct intake meetings with clients to agree on qualification criteria for candidates
• Recruitment of new reps for company roster

Qualifications/Requirements

• Holds post secondary education in a related field, such as Human Resources, Marketing, or Business Administration, or relevant experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Bilingual French/English considered a strong asset
• Experience evaluating candidates for various roles
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Detail oriented and organized
• Highly proficient with office automation tools (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Personable and outgoing
• Strong relationship building skills
• Solid organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of resume databases and applicant tracking systems
• Ability to independently manage hiring stages (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing)
• Ability to work independently, as well as strong teamwork skills
• Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening, in-person, group interviews and Skype/Video interviews
• Willing to be an active participant and make an impact
