Our client is a successful and established Vancouver-based Recruitment agency covering contract and perm roles. They have been operating in Vancouver for nearly a decade and have established relationships with the vast majority of the significant clients in Vancouver and Canada.


Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Recruitment Manager to lead our sales efforts and manage our recruitment team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both sales and recruitment, along with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can build and maintain relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and drive the success of our recruitment operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Identify prospective clients, establish relationships, and lead the sales team in converting leads into long-term partnerships.



Team Management: Manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, ensuring the team meets recruitment goals and delivers high-quality candidate matches.



Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients. Understand their recruitment needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional service delivery throughout the recruitment process.



Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the Vancouver market and beyond. Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the agency's brand presence and expand the client base.



Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop effective sourcing and candidate selection strategies. Ensure the agency remains competitive by staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.



Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales and recruitment metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for achieving KPIs.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting sales achievements, recruitment outcomes, and market insights.



Qualifications and Experience:


  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment industry, talent acquisition processes, and market trends.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, with at least 5 years of experience in a sales-focused role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, including managing a team of recruiters.
  • Previous experience in the Vancouver job market is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
