Sr. Manager, Global Procurement Sourcing Solutions

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Global Procurement Sourcing Solutions will influence sourcing decisions and business outcomes in a high-volume environment , develop process enhancements, and deliver on cost savings & cost avoidance efforts where opportunities exist. The primary focus will be on speed of execution and process optimization including partnering with senior leadership to proactively develop strategies for optimizing how sourcing initiatives are managed with varying degrees of risk and complexity. The Senior Manager will gather and analyze data to create various sourcing strategies supporting different business models for services contemplated or currently under contract and prepare findings for senior leadership and business partner review. The Senior Manager will have an outcomes focused view that will center on providing cost effective, sustainable solutions to RBC businesses, and optimizing total value generated from RBC’s supplier base.

What will you do?

• Analyzes complex procurement challenges and assists in developing solutions to best meet business needs.
• Develops and implements process efficiencies leveraging standardized tools, practices and procedures such as Transaction Agreements, Statement of Work,
• Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and analyze strategic issues; seek business unit or enterprise opportunities; enhance service levels; and consolidate critical and non-critical requirements across different suppliers.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, support procurement and business partner teams in managing supplier agreements and relationships and leads the drafting and contract process to existing and new contract files as necessary.
• Secures stakeholder support for sourcing decisions
• Build effective and strong relationships with stakeholders (including executive level) by understanding key needs and dynamics across stakeholder groups, decision makers and influencers.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 7+ years’ experience in global procurement, sourcing and relationship management
• Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations
• Experience in leading and supporting stakeholder interactions/relationships
• Post-secondary education in Finance, related Purchasing field or Procurement Designation
• Business, Financial and Contract Acumen

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
