Senior Technology Lead Jobs

MUST HAVE: Strong technology acumen in SW applications space and experience breaking down technology strategy into implementation plans related to enterprise technology modernization (i.e. AWS cloud adoption)

About the role:

The Senior Technology Lead reports to the Managing Director (DigitalCore B2B Integration) and is typically engaged in planning, prioritizing and delivering cloud API solutions that represent the best value of technology spend while observing technology governance within prescribed limits. The Senior Technology Lead is a well-rounded technology leader who understands AWS cloud adoption, technology strategy, SW application development, API migration, manages and maintains the ongoing solutions delivered to the designated business/group, manages the end to end development process to ensure that the right solutions are delivered and addresses any operational concerns once in production. Delivers on time and one budget and adheres to required standards.

What will you do:

• Identify potential risks and issues impacting strategic initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation plans
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and provide thought leadership and guidance to drive continuous improvements and innovation
• Creation of leadership level insight, communication and presentation related to strategic plan, roadmap and performance
• Develop portfolio-level strategies, design solutions and create plans to implement initiatives of varied complexity aligned with the organization's objectives and priorities, such as platform modernization, cloud migration and system integrations
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance performance, and drive efficiency in portfolio management and initiative tracking
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative solutions that address complex business challenges and drive portfolio success (Solution Design)
• Partner closely with senior leaders and project delivery leads to gather updates, identify strategic challenges, and provide guidance on strategic alignment and decision-making
• Effectively communicate portfolio progress, initiative status, and key updates to senior leadership, stakeholders, with strategic insights and recommendations (Strategic Communication)
• Assess the performance of portfolio initiatives and projects against established metrics and benchmarks, and provide comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior management
• Develop and maintain robust system for tracking portfolio-level KPIs to measure the effectiveness and success of strategic initiatives
• Analyze portfolio KPI data, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and provide actionable recommendations

What you need to succeed:

• Familiarity with AWS cloud modernization and migration from on-prem to cloud
• Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
• Experience translating technology strategy into implementation plans with strong execution and delivery capability
• Experience managing a Portfolio and involvement in Strategic Initiatives, with impact at enterprise level
• Typically 10-15 years of work experience in SW development/implementation/migration
• Knowledge of solution architecture and understanding the dynamics of downstream/upstream impact of technology
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems
• Exposure to Financial Industry
• Understand functional aspects and technical behavior of the underlying operating system, development environment, and deployment practices.
• Have facility with and understanding of the ecosystem that code operates in.
